After a very successful fundraiser for our learning commons, students that sold products have truck bucks to spend. This Friday they will get an opportunity to do so when the food trucks visit Nose Creek School. In addition to spending their earned Truck Bucks, students can bring money to use at the food trucks and will rotate out to them throughout the morning.
This week, a group of Kodiaks are in Japan visiting our sister school. For those parents of younger students, I would encourage you to talk with Ms. Malayko about the experience and the possibility of future trips.
Today, April 17th, 6 inventions with their inventors from Grade 8 represented Nose Creek at the Calgary Invention Convention at City Hall. This comes shortly after a strong finish with Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals being earned at the Calgary Youth Science Fair. Way to go Kodiaks!
If your child is in grade four and interested in joining the Grade 4 Drama Club, please ensure they see Mrs. Ross for a permission form as the club begins next month! The club will meet after school in the Foods Room on Wednesdays from 3-4pm beginning on May 2. Permission forms are due back to Mrs. Ross on or before April 17!
